Algerian Ambassador Meets Bangladesh Home Minister

Abdelouahab Saidani, Ambassador of Algeria to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, Home Minister of Bangladesh, today at the Bangladesh Secretariat.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in security, law enforcement, combating human trafficking, migration management, and trade and economic relations. Both sides emphasised the importance of the exchange of logistics, specialised training and capacity building.

The meeting also welcomed ongoing G2G initiatives on LNG and pharmaceuticals, as well as opportunities to expand trade including Bangladeshi fertiliser supplies and skilled manpower exports to Algeria.

The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
