Chaib receives Peru’s Foreign Ministry SG

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, received on Sunday at the Ministry’s headquarters the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, Eric Anderson Machado. The meeting took place on the occasion of the 5th session of political consultations co-chaired by the Secretaries-General of the two countries’ Foreign Ministries.

The meeting provided "an opportunity to review the outcomes of these political consultations, which serve as a mechanism aimed at exploring ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The 5th session coincides with the celebration of the 54th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Algeria and Peru." the statement added. "On this occasion, both sides also discussed their respective experiences in addressing the concerns of their national communities abroad and shared best practices in this field .
