Mr. Attaf holds talks with Head of UN Support Mission in Libya

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held Saturday, in Antalya (Turkiye), discussions with the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Hanna Tetteh .

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, offered an opportunity to review the developments in Libya, against the backdrop of continued UN efforts to move the country's political process forward.

The talks also served, according to the same source, to reaffirm Algeria's commitment, alongside Libya's neighbouring countries, to backing all initiatives aimed at reaching a lasting settlement that restores security and stability in Libya, while safeguarding its sovereignty, independence and national unity.
